We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to be a Goodwill Ambassador of the Company to all Customers and Potential Customers.

Responsibilities:
• Answering phone calls and assisting walk-in customers. Taking orders for glass and services. Assisting Scheduler in setting appointments.
• Quoting customers and creating work orders as necessary, receiving payments and invoicing orders.
• Maintaining accurate account of the cash drawer and petty cash receipts and making daily deposits.
• Ordering parts for work orders as needed and returning parts as necessary.
• Keeping accurate account of and handling daily, semi-weekly, weekly and semi-monthly reports on orders, work orders and invoices.

Qualifications;
• Previous experience in customer service, sales or other related fields

On the commercial side, they are responsible for installation of commercial storefront framing and glass, and aluminum entrance doors.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Commercial aluminum entrance doors, storefront framing and glass, hardware, etc.
• Install glass, door and window hardware in replacement and new installations.
• Conduct accurate field measuring and cut flat glass and mirrors according to specified dimensions and patterns.
• Collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed.
• Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition.
• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions.

Qualifications & Educational Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 Years prior experience in the flat glass industry. Installing mirrors and showers is a plus.
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• All candidates must pass initial background check and drug test. Valid drivers license to drive and a clean DMV record.
• Candidates must be physically capable of performing work with ladders, scaffolding and related equipment, in good health, and with the ability to lift up to 50-100 lbs unassisted.

Preferred Skills:

• Effective troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently
• Hardworking, motivated, with excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills

Other:

Basic tools required. Clean DMV record. Valid Driver’s license. Drug testing. Willing to relocate to Kansas City Metro Area.

COVID 19 has had some interesting effects on our lives. For instance, wine consumption and home improvement projects have both increased dramatically.
