Clinton's Soda Fountain

We're trying out Wonkavision. You know - where you can get stuff through the screen? If we tilt the counter enough, maybe this sundae will slide off and straight to you.

It didn't work? Hmm. Well, Wonkavision technically was for TV and we're all on computers these days. Maybe that's why. Guess you'll have to come in and get it yourself! 😁

You know you've been thinking about getting a scoop. Who says it has to be summer to enjoy a bit of ice cream now and then? 😎🍦

Another chilly day - although the snow didn't last very long, did it? What an odd winter we're having. No matter - we're able to keep you nice and toasty both inside our place and with a nice hot cup of hot chocolate!

By the way, if you participated in our little experiment - thanks! It was interesting to see what the results were. In short, we asked folks to like the post because we were curious as to just how many people were actually seeing them considering each posts only gets a few likes every time. This post got 106 likes!

That means many of you *are* seeing the posts - but definitely not nearly as many as the number of people who follow our page. Though that doesn't really take into account the number of people who may have seen the post and thought we were just gunning for likes and scroll on by. 😅

In the end, Facebook may keep us down for whatever reason (maybe because we're not throwing money at them for ads? Who knows.), but as long as you guys support us by coming over for drinks, grilled cheese sandwiches, sundaes, shakes, candy, taffy, chips, and classic phosphates, then that's what truly matters. So we thank you for your continued business (especially during the winter!!) and here's to a bright and shiny summer!

Random request for y'all out there - if you see this post, could you like it? We're not sure how many people Facebook is actually showing our posts to. We have 5K followers, yet we're only getting 4 or 5 likes on each post. So we're genuinely wondering if Facebook is distributing our posts or just selecting a handful of people to show them to. 🤔

Only two days left to hang a fun animal cookie styled ornament on your tree! When you spend a total of $20 (more than one visit is okay! Just keep your receipts!) at our place, you can take one home with you! December 14th is the final day to get one, so get in here and order up some deliciousness. Then it can join the cute El Pico taco, Ophelia's martini glass, Gilbert Whitney Christmas truck, and all the other fun Square ornaments shining on your tree!

When you spend $20 here at Clinton's you'll get a free glass Cody Foster ornament. Each one is different - just like in a real bag of frosted animal cookies! Maybe you'll get one just like this, or perhaps an elephant or a camel! It will be a fun surprise no matter what!

Don't worry if you find yourself not able to spend $20 all at once - hang onto your receipts! You have until December 14th to hit $20 total, then you can get your very own ornament!

Are you out and about? Get something sweet from our place! The lights are twinkling, there are carolers on the Square, jingling bells, and of course - SANTA! Get yourself some cocoa or a sundae (thanks to the weather!) and have a grand Living Windows time!

We're joining the ornament fun here on the Square! But since we're fashionably late, we realize it might be a bit hard for folks to hit that $50 mark by the 14th like all the other stores. So we're making it much easier for you to get your hands on one of these little guys - when you spend $20 you'll get one of these for free! There are six different "frosted" animal cookie glass ornaments, which only adds to the fun! Which one will you get? Only one way to find out!

Today is prime hot cocoa day! Take five at our little soda fountain and watch the rain come down outside while a cup of cocoa keeps your hands and your tummy nice and warm.

Grasshoppers aren't just a summer thing - hop in to our place and get nice and minty with one today! How can you say no to delicious mint ice cream topped with fudge and Oreo bits? Whipped cream and a cherry to top everything off - so yummy!

Hope you're coming out for the parade this Saturday! It may be spooky - but it will also be a lot of fun! We'll be opening at 8:30am so you have plenty of time to get a nice hot cup of cocoa before the ghosts and skeletons emerge! And when the parade is over, stick around! We'll have lovely grilled cheese sandwiches and all the shops will be open (perhaps with some sales in tow!).

The afternoon is always peak ice cream time. You've got a craving for it - the perfect little delight to enjoy between lunch and dinner. Doesn't have to be a lot. Just a simple sundae to put a smile on your face. Mom always said eating dessert before dinner ruined dinner, but we don't think that's the case. Rather, we like to think of it as self-care. 😉

Not feelin' the ice cream? We get it. It's cold out. So why not warm up here with a nice cup of hot chocolate instead? Maybe sn**ch a few candy bars or a bag of chips while you're here for something to snack on later.
