As kids, toys had bright colors and made noise. As adults, new toys can improve our lives by making us sweat and (hopefully) stronger. My new weighted vest doesn’t sing or roll across the floor, but it makes me just as excited as Christmas morning. Growing up doesn’t mean giving up play—it just means upgrading the equipment. 🎉💪 Woot, woot!! Yoga does a body good but we have to do everything we can to hold on to our muscle mass as we age! Muscle mass is living!

What should I add next? What new purchases elevate you?!

What is my own version of Resilience Yoga? It’s an accessible, trauma conscious class, using movement and poses that support daily living. Ample, clear queuing with a demonstration - I will do your class with you and lead you through breath centered movement using clear instruction.

I’ve been in the fitness industry for more than 35 years and teaching Yoga for more than 12 years.

I’ve participated in the mayor’s Healthy Huntsville initiative for many years now. I always look forward to these fun classes! Please come out and see me - I hear this location is awesome! Rain or shine - come yogi with me! 😊 Beginner friendly and yogi approved!

Okay! Time to get serious with myself… I am normally a very healthy eater by necessity - because of auto immune issues and sensitivities! But also because enjoy it! 😋

In November I got lazy and I fell off the wagon and have not been able to make myself climb back on. That's a long time!! Too much sugar and too many processed foods has wrecked my gut health. I am seeing the ugly after effects of that: stomach pain, bloating, irregularity, weight gain, plus increase in joint pain and migraine pain.
 💥*You play you pay, as they say!*💥

Personally, I cannot play fast and loose with my eating habits and self-care. If I want to live better and feel better I must do better. 
Resorting to these products is just one piece of my puzzle. I must also rein in my discipline: scheduled and planned eating, far less sugar and lose the canned soup, prepackaged meals and junk. I can do this! 💪🏻🐢💚 @hsvcomprx

I just felt like I had a breakthrough today. I wanted to share because I believe that we all have this strength inside of us. I found strength today and it felt really good. We breathe every day, but how much attention do we pay to how our breath affects us? I would say the average person doesn’t even consider it. Our breath and control of it is really probably one of our very greatest assets. Our breath is our ally. I want you to feel this good too! 💪🏼🐢💚
