The popular "fake" pastor Harrison Charles Anazodo, the general overseer of Dayspring assembly in Awada has been allegedly arrested by the men of Anambra State Udogachi security outfit.

He was arrested around 7pm on Wednesday after the security operatives intensely searched for him in his place of worship. The Search reportedly lasted for over 5hours before Udogachi men got hold of him.

Recall that this pastor is accused of forcefully taking people's wives, swapping wives of church members and even marrying under age girls. He is currently holding the record of marrying over 55 wives while still answering a "pastor" .

"Verydarkman mobilized people to come to the airport to protect him from arrest, but he was in for a shock: nobody planned to arrest him.

He wanted to be arrested to trend and twist the narrative to look like he was being targ£ted for speaking against Tinubu’s second-term bid.

Guess what? He was disappointed.

But let it be known: if the authorities wanted to arrest VeryDarkMan, they would arrest him. None of the people he mobilized would have stopped it.

This woman threw her 5-year-old child into a river because she believed the child was responsible for her inability to conceive again.

According to her, she had not been able to get pregnant after giving birth to the child, who had also been unable to walk since birth.

In search of answers, she visited a seer in Benin, who allegedly told her that the child was a python in human form.

The seer reportedly warned that if she did not get rid of the child, she would either continue giving birth to children with similar conditions or never conceive again.

Acting on that advice, she threw the child into a river.

MFM Suspends Vigils, Limits Services to 8pm Nationwide Over Rising Security Concerns

The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) has instructed all its branches across Nigeria to end church activities by 8:00 pm and suspend vigils and overnight programmes until further notice, following rising security concerns in the country.

The directive was contained in an internal memo dated June 5, 2026, and signed by the Director of Administration at the church’s international headquarters in Lagos, Temitope A. Olawale.

According to the church, the decision was taken to ensure the safety and well-being of members amid the current security situation nationwide.

The memo stated that all services, meetings, and related activities must now conclude no later than 8:00 pm. It also emphasized that vigils and overnight prayer sessions have been suspended indefinitely.

It further explained that where necessary, vigils may be converted into evening programmes, but must still end on or before 8:00 pm.

The church described the measures as precautionary and compulsory across all levels of the ministry.

“These measures are purely precautionary and are intended to safeguard the lives and well-being of our members in the face of the current security situation in the country. All MFM ministers, groups, and departments are to strictly comply with this directive,” the memo added.

The notice was distributed to Principal Regional Overseers, Senior Regional Overseers, Mega Regional Overseers, zonal pastors, and branch pastors for immediate enforcement. The directive comes amid increasing insecurity concerns in parts of Nigeria, including cases of banditry, k+dn@pping, and att@cks on rural communities.
