Whether it’s dark and gloomy or bright and sunny Narcissus are a definitive reminder of Spring’s arrival. They are a dependable, almost care free perennial that can be used in a variety of ways to enhance your early spring landscape. We like to use them in mass groupings as a colorful accent in front of dark formal evergreens or in naturalized clusters in a woodland garden. Reach out to us if you need help choosing the right location in your garden for these colorful bulbs.

Having the opportunity to collaborate with a client and their builder prior to the start of any site work or construction can have a very positive impact on the overall project. I began design work on this waterfront estate by first locating the house on the property with consideration of views, spatial relationships, drainage concerns, and costs. Once I had a good idea of where the house would be best situated, I began to layout drives, motor court, pool deck, drainage structures, and setting proposed elevations. After selecting certain trees for removal based on overall health, survivability, and benefit we were ready to begin site work. This approach allows us to create a harmonious balance between hardscape, landscape, and home. Reach out to us at the very beginning of your project and let's discuss how we can help bring all the elements of your site and home together in a coherent manner.
