"Peg’s Foundation is proud to have two of our closest partners and fellow Ohioans receive recognition from the Judges and Psychiatrists Leadership Initiative. Both Justice Stratton, Retired and Dr. Munetz have spent a lifetime championing ideas to improve justice and community responses for those suffering mental illness. Their work has greatly contributed to improving the lives of those, like our Founder’s son, who have historically been frustrated by a system that too often criminalizes their illness. By emphasizing treatment over punishment, many across our great nation receive better care, better support, and an improved pathway to a higher quality of life. Ohio leads the way, due in large part, to your fine work and commitment. Well done Eve! Well done Mark!"
