We are excited to be a part of a community that is helping restore Houston’s natural habitat! Memorial Park will be an oasis in our metropolis. Keep an eye on the upcoming changes!
Construction on the Land Bridge and Prairie is about to begin! The Land Bridge includes two connections over Memorial Drive that will reunite the north and south sides of the Park, create new greenspace for people and wildlife, and restore native coastal prairie. We are excited to begin working on this project, set to finish in late 2022. Thank you to project partners Houston Parks - HPARD, Kinder Foundation, and Uptown Houston and to Master Plan designers Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects.
