The Gammas would like to invite you and your friends out to our annual fall event that MGC is hosting. The event will be held on October 13th at 7-11pm. All UHD students, staff, and alumni have free admission and would love to see all of you there. Come enjoy the music, food, and all the fun activities that we will be having. Hispanic Heritage Month is here and we want to share some of the culture we share among our sisterhood:

“The charro, is the male rider who practices charrería, and is also oftentimes the national icon for Mexico. The modern charro evolved from a long line of mexican horsemen. Charrería (is a sport and discipline arising from 9 events ranging from equestrian activities and livestock traditions used in the haciendas of old Mexico.

Kevin is a member of charros del Aguaje where he participates in various events ranging from a version of ba****ck bronc riding, bull riding, trick roping and a version of steer wrestling.”

Our sister Jessica “Suemy” Loera #51, has always shared her Mexican roots, culture, family, and food with us. We have seen her son grown into an outstanding young man. This is how Kevin continues that legacy.
