It’s Never in our own strength. Whatever we choose to lay aside, it’s for His glory and honor. It may appear difficult at first, (it takes practice) but if we’re intentional and really grasp the concept of what Jesus endured, and the ultimate sacrifice He made it puts things in a different perspective.

Like if He can, so can we-honor God and make that sacrifice (whatever that may be that we do that causes separation=sin). It then becomes a beautiful exchange.

His love for me, you all, and this world is beyond my comprehension. We also have to keep at the forefront of our minds that His love for us is not based on performance or perfection-but on the finished work of Jesus!

Good morning!

We take for granted the seemingly insignificant things. Like simply moving our bodies and stretching it. It matters. Not only for ourselves, but it’s about honoring God our Creator. It’s worship. It’s surrender. It’s not about perfection, but also pausing to remember His sacrifice for us and what He laid down in obedience to God. It was an act of love beyond comprehension.

However, when the gift of rest comes, honor it. No need to push through. Because if you don’t surrender to that rest, that stillness, you may be forced to. Be blessed and have a purposeful day today.

Proverbs 18:24 says, "A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother."

During the holiday season it can be very hard for those in grief, or those dealing with any heavy pit, problem, or circumstances. Don’t isolate, because it can be destructive to yourself and others. Rather embrace solitude as it is more productive. It’s where you meet with God, and He will give you rest.
If you keep doing the same things, you will keep getting the same results!

Get out there (show yourself friendly), stop feeling sorry for yourself, basking in loneliness, and that you feel unseen. Serve God, serve those in need, and give to the kingdom of God. That’s the cheat code to fight against loneliness.

Whew….today as been one for the books. Woke up with a renewed sense of joy, love, hope, faith, a smile on my face, a song in my heart and energized to do what God has tasked my hands to do. In the midst of praising God, the unexpected happened.

This could have been another way, but God spared my life and the person that hit me on a very busy freeway. We’re both ok, more of an inconvenience more than anything. Then to find out a close family friend passed away. I’m like woah God, okay.

Fought through and felt every emotion known to man. Fighting my own humanity while still trying to honor God, and appreciate those God sent my way to coach me through by providing wise counsel. You all know who you are, and I love you. Thank you for the extending the truth, love, and light of Christ, especially in times like these.

I would be remiss to not give God all of the glory, honor, and praise, anyhow. I’ve also done everything I can, so now that leaves room for God to deliver.

And no, I didn’t want to post this, because I’m a very private person. But at this point in my journey, I’m over myself, and unapologetically blessed and walking in my freedom. Totally unshamed of the gospel, and unashamed to forever declare his faithfulness and His hand on my life as long as there’s breath in my body.

I hope and pray this blessed you, and offer encouragement to keep it pushing and don’t give up. Help is on the way!

-This is a prayer for a healthy balance between wealth and poverty.

-Too Rich=could lead to pride and the denial of God.

-Too poor=could lead to stealing and dishonoring God.

Prayer: May God grant us all a life of sufficient, but not excessive provision.

Amen and Amen.

Don’t hold people responsible for choices that you made in life. Nor be mad because they choose not to participate in the chaos of your personal war within. It’s OK to acknowledge that sometimes you are the problem. It’s not always other people. Even if it is, you still have a responsibility to respond not react. That’s the God-honoring thing to do.

For every where you go there you are. If you don’t like where you are in your life, you have the power to change it.

It’s about the journey. Simply trust the journey. You may not understand now, but as God’s plan slowly unfolds for your life and ultimately prevails it will all begin to make sense.

Accept the fact that God is pruning you for your next. Building character, so it will keep you for where you’re headed. He’s slowly changing your appetite physically and spiritually and that’s ok. It also comes with being uncomfortable, new people, places, and opportunities.

Boss up even more than you already are. The problem is that people get caught up with aesthetics and the illusion of comfort and safety of where they are in life. Don’t fall for it. Grow!

Along the way God will reveal himself strong and you have to realize that certain people around you don’t have the bandwith and capacity to hold space for you anymore because they can no long longer benefit from your brokenness. Pay attention!

That’s ok though, God sees, knows, and He cares. Let Him be your vindicator. Onward and Upward!
