Jan Herring

Jan created many enamel on copper pieces of art. She first cut out the design, fired each section and mounted them on similarly shaped wood.

I just saw this small painting by Jan in her great niece’s home. Love it.

This is a full sheet watercolor of Jan’s granddaughter, Amanda.

This is an enamel on copper, 16x20. Each line is actually cut out with a jewelry saw, each piece fired separately and then reassembled and adhered to a support.

One of Jan’s favorite subjects was carousels. Here is an 18x24 watercolors.
