So sorry to hear about the passing of the beloved guitarist, Polly Harrison, one of the great jazz artists based in San Antonio and one of the first musicians I encountered as a kid growing up in Texas.

Our hearts are heavy here at KRTU as we learn of the passing of our dear friend and incredible guitarist Polly Harrison. Polly has been an inspirational part of San Antonio’s community, and we are grateful to have had her as part of our programming and celebrations here at the station. We will be planning a tribute to her and her music in the upcoming weeks on 91.7 FM. Thank you, Polly, for all the joyous tunes, positivity, and kindness over the years. ✨

It’s a Happy Valentine’ Day indeed! I am so happy and grateful to be with you, Hikari. I’m so excited for our future together and to continue to grow and share in the experience of life with one another. The journey is so much sweeter now. Love you so much!
