This customer was hearing way too much noise from the vents, so we took a closer look at the grilles.

Too many louvers can restrict the airflow and make the vents louder. We’re swapping them out for a less restrictive grille and flipping the airflow so it’s not blowing straight toward the bed.

Small change, but it can make a big difference in how a room feels. 👀

You can know your equipment inside and out, but if you can’t talk to homeowners, explain the problem, and earn their trust, you’re going to have a hard time.

2️⃣ This trade will beat you up if you don’t take care of yourself.

Attics in 100°+ heat, crawlspaces, heavy equipment, kneeling all day, awkward installs, long days… it adds up. Your body is one of your most important tools. Take care of it.

3️⃣ You’re usually walking into someone’s bad day.

Nobody calls the HVAC guy because everything is going perfectly. 😂 They’re hot, cold, frustrated, stressed about money, or worried about their family.

Sometimes the job is more than fixing the AC. You have to stay calm, communicate clearly, and make the customer feel like they’re in good hands.
