Last week, we celebrated Querube's new family home!

With the help of Tom Pace, Senior Pastor of St. Luke's UMC - Houston we blessed this beautiful space and watched Querube's dreams become a reality.

Her sons and grandchildren were overjoyed to see their new home and celebrate this incredible milestone. This home will build wealth for Querube's family for generations to come.

A heartfelt thank you to St. Luke’s United Methodist Church for their generous sponsorship of this Habitat Houston build.

Martin, an active-duty Air Force member, just purchased his first Habitat home in Houston. Martin’s connection with Habitat runs deep—his parents became Habitat homeowners over 20 years ago, and his new home is right next door to his childhood home.

Thanks to our affordable housing preservation initiative, and with the invaluable support of Avenue CDC Homeownership Center and Cornerstone Home Lending Martin and his fiancée are now settling into this beautiful new chapter of their lives.
