The Youth Medical Career Tour 2021 was a success!! Students from different parts of Hampton Roads came to see different healthcare careers! We are thankful to everyone who made this event a success. Stay tuned for the next one!!

We would like to give a heartfelt Thank You to all of the organizations and the wonderful people who have supported our efforts this year. Despite Covid, we were able to donate schools supplies for nearly 200 students and give out TWO Scholarships. We look forward to doing bigger and better things in 2021, so stay tuned!!!!!

The Why
We are an organization that aims at helping young students to S.E.E. what they can be in the health professions. We aim to Support, Educate, and Expose students who may want to make a difference by entering into the healthcare sciences. It may be a wonder why it is so important for us, as health professionals, to help young students see the many possibilities in the medical world. Our passion for the work that we do and the people that we serve is why we find it important to help those young students who may want to also use their passion and talents to help the population with something that is vitally important, health.
One of the things that we consider is the fact that many young students do not even know the many possibilities that there are in the health professions. This is evident by the many studies that have been conducted showing that diversity is at an all time low within the health professions. We firmly believe that seeing is believing. As someone once famously said, "They can't be what they can't see" (Marian Wright Edleman). Our goal is to help our young students see what they can be in the health professions!!
