Yesterday I finally made the leap and upgraded my Canon to a mirrorless model. Itās been *ages* since Iāve purchased a new body, so you could say Iām pretty ecstatic. Canāt wait to put this bad boy to good with everything I have coming up this month!
So grateful, so excited. (Happy dance!)

Finally sharing some favorite images from this quiet morning with this beautiful little family in their home.
Iāll never stop being grateful for the intimate places photography brings me. Being welcomed in to witness and document the tender warmth, love, joy, and connection like this is something I donāt take lightly.
Thank you so much for having me

I got to visit Bre and Austinās farm this weekend. What a lovely place, nestled along the Wasatch Range, and so special to see interact with the beautiful horses. (That toothy smile!)
We hadnāt planned on any kind of photoshoot there, but Iām so glad I had my camera on me to document some of it.
Itās been quite wonderful to be back in Utah the last few days. Iāve had a handful of fantastic shoots already, seen friends, family, admired the majestic mountains (constantly), and jumped in a chilly mountain river with cheering strangers. Feeling grateful and inspired.

Iām heading back to Utah this week. As I spent the last hour or so scrolling through old photos, trying to find some favorites taken during my last year living there (an impossible task) I couldnāt help but feel real nostalgic and grateful. š¤
Nostalgic for the decade of growth, hikes, bike rides, experimenting in the studio, building a community, seeing familiar faces nearly everywhere I went. And grateful for incredible connections, friends and clients that bring me back out there a few times a year for workāand play. How lucky am I.
I love you Utah and I canāt wait to be out there in a few days. And if youāre worried about missing me this trip, I still have a few more spots available for all my spontaneous friends who want to capture some memories.

Matt in the studio.
Switching up my feed to share some funky experimental shots with my friend and fellow photographer, .
It was a good day in the , and we both had a lot of fun trying a bunch of new things. ā In fact, these photos ended up being the inspiration for my band shoot a few weeks later! (Will share those soon.)

Jonathan Roumie, who plays Jesus of Nazareth, at The Chosen Season 5 World Premiere Event.
The Chosen TV series started as a small crowd-funded project in 2017 and over the years has gained an incredibly loyal following that consistently knows how to show up. The energy of the fans at this event was one of genuine excitement and pure love. It was sweet to watch the interactions and help capture this big evening.
Thanks again to for having me be a part of the fantastic media team for this red carpet event. Such a blast.

More favorite moments from the āredā carpet at The Chosen World Premiere Event. āØ
We were working with some bright direct sun for about half the event before it hid behind the theater. Although pretty, I admit it sometimes made capturing the fast-paced, live event a bit tricky. But it sure made the gorgeous cast shine! Thankful for my ever-patient editor of the evening . He processed each of my (many many images) like an absolute champ.
Thankful to for having me on the team that day!
