I love an intentional seasonal reset 🤎
September is the perfect time to pause before the busy holiday months quickly approach. It is the beginning of a new season, and there is no better time to release what is no longer serving you so you can make space for what you want to welcome.
That might be physical things in your home, old commitments that no longer work for where you are in life now, or even those pantry items you bought in the spring and still have not used.
One of the questions I like to come back to during every season is:
What do I need to release to make space for what I want to welcome?
This is what I call seasonal simplifying. It is about getting out of that reactive state of overwhelm and moving into a more proactive state of choice. Taking a little time to release, reset, and renew before everything begins to pile up again.
I try to practice seasonal simplifying at the start of every season because it helps me feel refreshed, clear-headed, and ready to welcome what is next. It can help with burnout too. Sometimes we get stagnant, stuck in our routines, or keep holding onto things that simply are not working anymore. Change is good, and a new season can be a beautiful reason to look at things with a fresh perspective.
And honestly… fall is my favorite season. The darker colors, falling leaves, spicy scents, cozy evenings—all of it makes me so happy and calm. 🤎🍂
You do not have to do all 9 of these things in a day or even in one week. Just pick one place to start. Small, consistent habits can create such a huge sense of clarity and help protect your wellbeing.
Save this for your next reset, and tell me—which one are you starting with first? 🤍

A little September reset 🤎
I spent today doing a seasonal reset around the house, moving out my summer wardrobe, and pulling out some of my favorite fall things.
I also got rid of quite a few décor items that were worn down or didn’t spark joy anymore.
Sometimes a seasonal reset is just noticing what’s run its course, letting it go without guilt, and making a little space for what feels aligned with where you are right now.
My fall wardrobe, darker moody colors, cozy textures, candles, and all the little details that make home feel warm again always make me so happy. Now, if the weather would just cooperate, we would be all set 🤎
Save this for the next time your home feels like it needs a seasonal reset 🍁

It's time to pack for one of my clients' upcoming trips — let's go. 🤍
I always start by laying out the outfits, shoes, and accessories before anything goes into the suitcase. That way I know everything is paired well and my clients aren't scrambling for something that got forgotten. They show up, unpack, and it's all already decided for them.
After folding both of their clothes into packing cubes, I designated one side of the suitcase for his and one side for hers. This was a short trip, so they were able to share.
For toiletries, she has a few of my favorite organization products — the large size toiletry bag by Afform, and the Kusshi hair tools bag that holds all of her brushes, curling irons, and even the Dyson hair dryer.
And for the items that don't fit in a suitcase, those go in the Hulken. No showing up to a hotel with a million bags — everything rolls in with you. ✨
All products linked in my ShopMy in my bio.

You can be good at holding everything together and still need a place to set some of it down. 🤍
Being capable does not mean you have to carry it all alone.
Sometimes wellbeing looks like asking for support. Sometimes it looks like creating a little more room to breathe in your home, your schedule, and your mind.

Somewhere in your home is something you look at, ignore, and avoid dealing with — because facing it means a decision you've been putting off.
It's not decorating your home, it's not serving a purpose. It's just there — taking up space, collecting dust, and quietly adding to everything else you're avoiding.
The most powerful part isn't getting rid of it. It's realizing how long you let it sit there — quietly costing your peace. 🤍
Is there one thing in your home you’ve been avoiding because it requires a decision?

I’ve been quieter here the last couple of weeks because, like a lot of you, I’ve been carrying a lot behind the scenes. Life has definitely been life-ing.
As I’m sitting here on the floor refurbishing a 100‑year‑old curio cabinet I sourced for my client, it felt like the right moment to pop back in. This is the part of my work most people never see — the slow, meticulous care that happens behind the scenes.
When life gets full, I have to step back and give my nervous system a soft place to land and actually recharge. For me, that usually looks like taking quiet moments for myself to drown out the noise, step away from the hustle, and refocus.
There’s a part of me that feels behind — I haven’t been posting or working on content the way I planned. But sometimes this is what showing up looks like.
So if you’re in that season too, this is your reminder.
It’s okay to take a beat.
It’s okay to take a breather.
You have to take care of yourself first. 🤍

The Gentleman’s Closet Refresh. 🤍
This one meant a lot to me.
He’s a retired businessman and Air Force veteran with a full life and a busy schedule — and getting dressed in the morning had quietly become harder than it needed to be. Drawers with no structure. Suits collecting dust. Wire and plastic hangers eating up space and creasing his shirts. And tucked at the bottom of a drawer, his military pins and medals — in a Ziploc bag.
That last part stayed with me.
I reorganized everything from the ground up. Drawer dividers for his everyday wear, his shorts paired with the shirts he wears them with, velvet hangers throughout to protect fabric and reclaim space, protective covers on his suits and sport coats. A dedicated shoe area for his house slippers. His golf polos organized by color, his button-ups grouped and easy to reach.
And his military pins and medals? They’re in a proper display case now. Where they belong. ✨
The most powerful part wasn’t the organization — it was giving his life’s work the dignity it deserved.
Now getting ready is the easiest part of his day. Everything has a home. He knows where it is. And he doesn’t have to think about it.
That’s the goal every single time.
💾 Save this and share it with the person in your life whose space could use this kind of care.
