Wouldn’t you know it, another year comes and goes and another year I slack at switching over to this page to make any updates on shop life 🤦‍♂️
Lots of things have been happening as always, unfortunately my personal page and the ol tikky-tokky tend to get the most updates.

I’ll try and throw a post together with some notable things over the year, but the biggest news is the addition of a second lift here in the shop, making it easier to stay on top of the work and get you guys back in action quicker!

One thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s ok to be a tightwad but sometimes it’s well worth spending the money to have better tools to make the job go that much more smoothly and efficiently.

With that being said, we’ve upgraded to quite possibly the baddest ball joint press known to man, and will be starting to take on some additional front end work (historically we shyd away from such work due to the time it takes)

If any of my customers are following along the pages and tried to reach me this weekend, I have been without phone service since Thursday mid morning when we fly out of town for the weekend.
Currently working on getting the phone corrected (about another 1.5 hours of updating to to) and should be able to retrieve any missed texts or voicemails.

Wrapped up another EcoBoost manifold and turbo job last week, and had a first time, unique issue.
After countless F150 cab pulls without any hiccups, this one decided that the EPSCM (electric steering module) didn’t want to come back alive, rendering the steering unless (can only imagine having this part fail on the freeway as you have ZERO turning)
didn’t want to believe that the module failed so spent the next day chasing every connection and wire tied to it, only to confirm the inevitable and had to swap the unit out.
They say there’s a first for everything, and it’s always the red colored trucks that show you this is true 😂

Few delays and setbacks later, it was nice to finally get this engine all buttoned up and in the truck!
Tidy up the loose ends first of the week and get some break in miles on it & she will be back to ponding the payment.
