Awards are almost here! Make plans if you have not already done so to be at Vallensons Brewing in Pearland on August 1st. It is a free event - no ticket purchase necessary. Doors open at noon, and awards start at 1pm.

After our 4th judging week, we have completed our mission on time. All first and second round judging is now complete. That means all 72 medal winners have been decided.

Next up we will take all 24 gold medal winners and select the Best of Style winners representing the best b**r from each style group. Each of those winners will immediately go to the Best of Show table to select the best b**r of Lunar Rendezbrew 32.

We’ve been promoting a Best of Style designation as a group winner. Now let’s show you what comes with that. Every gold medal winner will receive a tap handle. Of the 4 b**rs in the style group, the best of style winner will be given a special display stand for their tap handle. Below is a sample of what to expect.

Fresh off our session at Eureka Heights Brewing yesterday, here is where judging stands after our 3 primary sessions. That is 18 medal tables worth of winners already decided!

I'd like to extend a huge thank you to the clubs across the region that have helped. All of the major Houston based clubs that support competition judging have pitched in with an assist from our friends across state lines as well.

We're over halfway complete, so we were able to take the Independence Day weekend off to celebrate with our families. But we'll be back at it with a massive judging session on July 11th at Eureka Heights.

We hope to complete all Big and Dark medal tables. Come out and just with us at 11 am on the 11th.

Week one of judging is complete, and we are excited about the progress so far. Thank you to all who have judged a flight!
