Lunar Rendezbrew

The first judging session for Lunar Rendezbrew 32 will take place on June 20th at 10am at Frost Town Brewing. Lock in that weekend for judging to get LR32 off to a great start with a full house.

The LR competition site will be purged next weekend to begin building out the site for LR32. If you still need to download your scoresheets from last year, please do so ASAP. Thanks.

New details emerge. With a total count reduction, our per brewer cap has been lowered. While not set yet, we also anticipate a lower number of medal tables as well to ensure a fair but competitive competition.

Lunar Rendezbrew 32 launch date is set!

Registration for the 32nd annual Lunar Rendezbrew homebrew competition is set to open on May 16th, so mark your calendars. There will be a 400 entry total cap this year.

The awards ceremony is being planned for August 1st. All other dates and details will be released in the coming weeks.

Our theme and logo this year is “Brew for All”. The Mashtronauts are celebrating our NASA roots by aligning with the Artemis 2 mission “Explore for All” which represents our first manned mission to lunar orbit in over 50 years.

We are in the design phase now, but the medals are going to be a must have! So plan your brew schedule now!

We had a lot of out of town winners at LR31 this year. All remaining medals shipped out today as you can see from the photo.

Medals only went USPS envelopes, and those with tap handles went in boxes by UPS. All have tracking numbers and should arrive between Saturday and next Tuesday. Congratulations to the winners and enjoy the awards.

Last thing needed to complete the post competition checklist is to award judges points with BJCP. That will be completed soon. At the live event we did the drawing for two $50 Total Wine gift cards for two lucky individuals that helped judge LR31. The winners drawn were Michael Wiley and Scott Riehm. Congratulations!

Wild day yesterday! Congratulations to all the winners whether you were at the awards festival or watching the online presentation. So many great beers this year that deserved recognition.

The festival was wonderful with our official Firkin tapping by original Mashtronaut John Jurgensen with the Marzen brewed by Jake Jones. Several first time medalists, a great raffle and live auction of a homemade brew club/brewery quilt, and more fun at the after party.

Cheers on another successful Lunar Rendezbrew. Medals for those not in attendance are being sorted for shipping this week.
