Exciting news... Noe's Crepes Coffee & Tea has teamed up with Sweet Riley's to start offering freshly baked pastries and deserts inside our stores.

More details will come soon, this will be epic and delicious.

Many of you may not know but I was laid off last March like many others, since then I haven't been able to find full time work, but last week I got an amazing opportunity to interview for a pastry position at a catering company, and I'm happy to say I start that job tomorrow. Here are the dishes I made:

Chocolate shell to look like a coconut, layered with coconut strussel, coconut and coffee buttercream, espresso ganache, and whipped coconut cream on top of mocha cookie crumbles

Lemon curd tart with a toasted meringue, and a chocolate ganache macaron

Pate choux filled with peanut butter bavarian creme and raspberry jam, topped with a whipped raspberry white chocolate ganache.

And a classic opera cake.

I'm extremely happy with the good fortune coming way and I am so ready to get back into working full time, growth means everything to me. This week I am also making a small wedding cake that I am excited for, so keep yours eyes open on Sweet Riley's

Best carrot cake ever. The photo does not do the cake justice, This was a 60th anniversary with the original wedding photo, hand crafted rose, piped names of children, grandchildren, and grest-grands, all in antique white for the diamond white celebration. Best ever!!

2 years ago I got the opportunity to play superhero and save this wedding cake! ❤️

"Tonight at work we had a wedding and the cake came destroyed. There was no way I wasn't going to try and fix it as long as I got the go from my boss. So as soon as we did, Haley and I began scrapping icing off, Haley made some quick American buttercream and we got to work. I did a quick and basic icing technique and was able to get flowers from the bridemaids bouquets, luckily I had some macarons on hand. It's not what she wanted, but I feel good that I was able to help her at least have something presentable with little equipment on hand."
