I had a chance to visit The Ion Houston for February’s Houston Start Up Showcase & I’ll definitely be going back. 🔥

If you’re not familiar, The Ion (located where the Sears Showcase building was) is the heart of Houston’s newest innovation district in Midtown and is home to restaurants, a bar, cafe, businesses ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500s, a coworking space, and so much more.

The Houston Start Up Showcase is just one of the many events hosted there that are open to the public. This event offers startups an opportunity to pitch in front of a live audience. Winner gets a chance to compete in the semifinals. Last month’s winner was Rekfix, a software assisting accident victims and service providers through the accident process using automated technology (congrats! 🥳)
