April is Autism Awareness Month! It's also a great way to remind friends and family members that safety for young, autistic children is one of the primary ways we can help them learn how to interact with the world around them. April is Occupational Therapist month! And what would we do without our fantastic OT’s?! This month helps recognize how occupational therapy helps individuals across their lifespan participate in daily, meaningful activities. If you see one of our wonderful occupational therapists be sure to give them a thank you!

Friendly reminder that our next parent workshops will be in April hosted in part with our friends at ARC of Greater Houston focusing on Communication Skills for your child. Each workshop will be hosted from 10-11 a.m. at one of our clinics:
Tuesday, April 7 at our Southwest Clinic
Thursday, April 9 at our North Clinic
Tuesday, April 14 at our West Clinic
Thursday, April 19 at our Pasadena Clinic
To register for these courses, simply call any one of our clinics or talk to your therapist to let them know you are interested in attending.

Hoppy Easter Friends 🐇 At KDT/KDC we adapt so that all children can enjoy the holiday. With eggs that beep, light up, shake, attach to balloon or have glow sticks all children can enjoy the hunt.
