One of the most thoughtful gifts from a client. This package arrived wrapped in a drawing from the original installation in 1971. The thristor was recovered from the disassembled plant and engraved with the project information and accompanied by a very nice thank you letter. Even the crumbled paper in the box for packing was old drawings. Super clever ideas. I am really going to cherish this gift, and I thank my team who made this extremely difficult project run smooth. My day - totally made!

Heather and I attending a splitter weighing over 600,000 lbs, almost 200' long and over 18' in diameter!
And that's how you get a reactor off the truck and onto the foundation!

What do you do when there is no room to turn the truck? You turn the transformer instead!!!

People often ask me how we deliver such massive pieces of equipment through small towns. Well this job in China tested our skills. A 147' long windturbine blade traveling up mountains and through small cities. What to do when there is no way to avoid snapping the blade in half around turns? Well if we are in charge we build a hydraulic lift and swing system, turn the blade the wrong way around on the truck and have horizontal and vertical control of the axis of the blade.
