A single entry with sidelights, finished in a bold color and framed by leaf-and-dart molding and deep architectural detailing.

A clear example that strong proportions, contrast, and craftsmanship are enough. ♥️

Gothic arch detailing in white oak.

Shown here in plain sawn grain, paired with a restrained raised panel below and a subtle Gothic expression in the glass. It is easy to understand why this was the material of choice in the late 1800s.

Located in the heart of SoHo, surrounded by historic buildings and cobblestone streets, this storefront was designed to complement its architectural context.

The 10-foot entry doors were constructed at 3 inches thick to ensure long-term structural stability. Fabricated in engineered mahogany, the assembly provides both strength and durability, built to endure for another century.

An intrinsic expression of late 1800s and early 1900s design.

From rounded columns and faceted triangular motifs to substantial applied moldings and carved ornament, every element reflects the architectural vocabulary of its era. The panel extension jamb and corresponding vestibule door were faithfully replicated to preserve the integrity and layered composition characteristic of the period.

A faithful replication, crafted in our shop, is now available at the Then & Now Windows showroom in New York City’s Financial District.
