The Rockets teamed up with Don Julio Tequila and Plant It Forward for a special service project promoting sustainable urban farming and local food systems. Our staff rolled up their sleeves to help plant, harvest, and prep ingredients for a chef-inspired meal paired with a Don Julio cocktail in celebration of Hispanic Heritage.

For nearly 15 years, Plant It Forward has been turning underutilized land into farming opportunities. We train aspiring and existing farmers, we connect them with space to grow their dreams, and we help nourish our neighbors. None of this is possible without the support of donors and funders like CenterPoint Energy, Bank of America, and H-E-B. Thank you for bringing champions for PIF! 💚 🌱
