I had the privilege of meeting the amazing women who run and operate Passion for Paws Memorial Animal Shelter. I also met three of their long term residences who are perfect in every way… Almost. One might say Emily, Jade, and Bebe could benefit from learning some basic manners. I’m so grateful they asked me to be the one to help out. We are working on a plan to be able to teach these girls a little bit of etiquette in hopes it will help find them their perfect forever homes 🥰🐕🤎

If some guy (or girl) tells you to ignore your dog's cries, to show your dog you're in charge or disregards how your dog feels, then grab your beautiful, vulnerable dog and run the other way. Our dogs rely on us to understand and care for them, to be their advocates and protectors from harm. Let's live up to their needs. It's our responsibility.
