Empty Bowls Houston will "pop-up" at Spice Routes: The Cardamom Challenge, an inagural food event being held this Sunday, June 7 from 11 am –2 pm at Ismaili Center Houston. We will be in the shopping bazaar selling bowls to benefit Houston Food Bank!
Spice Routes: The Cardamom Challenge is a multi-sensory culinary and cultural experience celebrating the global journey of cardamom through food, art and community. The ticketed indoor festival will also serve as the formal debut of the Center’s permanent art collection. Guests will experience chef-driven tastings with people’s choice voting, a judged “Chopped”-style culinary competition, curated exhibitions, architecture and garden tours, family programming, and The Bazaar, a vibrant marketplace featuring artisan goods, specialty foods, crafts, and cultural vendors including Empty Bowls Houston.

We are still basking in the glow of the 20th annual Empty Bowls Houston this past weekend!
Chairs of the Friday night Preview Party Anna Dean and Gin Braverman helped bring in more than 200 attendees and more than $18,000 was raised in ticket and bowl sales in just 2 hours!
More than 700 people joined us at the main event on Saturday, from all over Greater Houston and even some folks from San Antonio and beyond! Y'all helped raise more than $36,000 in bowl sales!
Over the past year, Empty Bowls Houston has raised an amazing $102,976 through sponsorships, Preview Party ticket sales and bowl sales which will help provide nearly 309,000 meals to our neighbors!
