Give what you can to those in need—and go all in on building your life.

This message is about balance: helping others without losing your drive. You can have compassion and still chase everything you’re capable of. Success isn’t selfish when you lift others along the way.

Whether it’s giving to the homeless, supporting your community, or just showing up better every day—this is about purpose, discipline, and doing both.

👉 Give what you can.
👉 Build everything you can.

Taking care of the homeless isn’t just kindness—it’s obedience to Christ.

In Matthew 25:35-40, Jesus makes it clear:
“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

When you feed the hungry, clothe the needy, or show compassion to the homeless, you are serving Jesus Himself.

The Greek word used for “least” (ἐλαχίστων / elachistōn) emphasizes those who are overlooked, ignored, and forgotten. Christ identifies personally with them.

This isn’t just charity—this is kingdom work.

If we want to walk like Christ, we must care for people the world walks past.

Every interaction with someone experiencing homelessness matters.

It’s not just a moment—it’s a step toward trust.

A conversation.
A cup of coffee.
A pair of gloves.

That’s how it starts.

Respect first. Always.

Because trust is what opens the door to real help—guidance off the street, connection to resources, and when needed, even support into a psychiatric care facility where they can find safety, stability, and a path forward.

This isn’t about quick fixes.
It’s about consistent presence.

Showing up.
Following through.
Treating people like people.

One interaction at a time—that’s how lives change.

At the cross, something profound happened. Those who knew the law, the religious leaders, stood nearby and mocked Jesus Christ—confident in their righteousness, yet blind to truth.

But a Roman centurion, a man with no covenant, no tradition, no religious standing, witnessed the moment and declared, “Surely this was the Son of God.”

This is the tension:
Religion can become so focused on being right that it misses what is real.
While those with no background, no expectation—simply see and believe.

Righteousness isn’t about proving you’re right.
It’s about being right in spirit, humility, and truth.

Sometimes the ones closest to God in appearance are the farthest in heart…
And the ones farthest away are the first to recognize Him.

We often care more about proving ourselves than understanding what God is doing.

“Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.”

You can fish all night, work hard, and still come up empty.

In John 21, the disciples caught nothing—until they listened to Jesus and cast their nets where He told them.

It wasn’t about effort. It was about obedience.

Are you grinding… or are you listening?
