AniMeals – Pet Food Drive throughout the Month of May

The aniMeals on Wheels program was founded so the home-bound clients of Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston’s Meals on Wheels would not feel compelled to share their limited food and resources with their four-legged friends. Thanks to your generosity, we can help home-bound seniors keep their pets. Numerous studies have shown that these pets improve the health and life of seniors by reducing depression and loneliness.

The Village of the Heights Assisted Living & Memory Care is hosting a pet food drive throughout the month of May. Soft pet food is recommended but any donation is a blessing.
Because kibble isn’t complete without a treat, volunteers also deliver donated biscuits, catnip toys, squeaky balls and other pet products.

Donations may be dropped off 7 days a week to The Village of the Heights Assisted Living & Memory Care 1407 Studewood St. 77008. Checks and cash donations are also accepted. Please make checks out to aniMeals. For more information, please call Glenda Clerc at 713-802-9700 or email [email protected].
