The Perfect Connection gathered in Waller, Texas for our annual Board Retreat—hosted at a beautiful ranch estate with a fun cowboy-themed touch. We had the honor of installing new board members into our leadership family and spent intentional time building relationships, aligning priorities, and unveiling our 2026–2027 strategic vision.

The energy, collaboration, and shared commitment in the room reminded us why this work matters. Together, we are preparing for the next chapter of impact and continued service to individuals and families in the Autism community.

We are grateful for a board that shows up with heart, vision, and a deep commitment to the mission. The future is bright—and we’re ready to keep doing the work that changes lives.

Holiday Giving • Community • Connection

For the past four years, Perfect Connection has had the honor of adopting special education classrooms serving children on the autism spectrum during the holiday season. What began as a simple act of giving has become one of the most meaningful traditions of our year.

Helping fulfill an angel’s wish list may seem small, but to families navigating the world of special education, it can lift a burden during a season that is often overwhelming. Our Board of Directors is proud and grateful to support these incredible children and their families in any way we can.

We extend our deepest thanks to Tracey Funches, an amazing and dedicated teacher, Principal Shontalle Louis , Special Education Chair and team for your unwavering commitment, compassion, and advocacy for your students. Your work changes lives every single day.

Perfect Connection is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, established five years ago, with a mission to educate, empower, and support autistic communicators and their families. Our work includes:
• After-school programs
• Corporate neuro-inclusive training
• Advocacy training for parents and caregivers
• A comprehensive resource hub for families, educators, healthcare professionals, and the community

We proudly serve families from the first day of diagnosis to the first day of college — because support should never have an expiration date.

Perfect Connectionis pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with the Scouts of San Jacinto‼️ as we observe Autism Awareness Month! Connection launched the inaugural Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Autism Awareness training designed to support volunteers, troop leaders and Girl Scouts in creating a sensory friendly environment that embraces neurodiversity and promotes inclusive practices. Thank you to the dynamic duo Dr. Courtney Jones Board President and founding board member Shawntell L. McWilliams facilitating such an engaging and informative sessions!!
