Not many grown adults would shield others in this situation and this young boy took it upon himself to shield his best friend. He is definitely one of God’s Angels. Prayers going up for him to continue to heal.

During the Minneapolis Catholic School shooting, this brave young man singlehandedly saved his friend’s life.

Victor laid on top of a boy named Weston, using his own body to protect his fellow student from the bullets. 👏💪

“My friend Victor, like saved me, though, because he laid on top of me, but he got hit,” Weston told reporters after the attack.

It turns out a bullet fragment has since been found in Weston’s neck, which is “dangerously close” to an artery, and he needs surgery to remove it.

As for Victor, he was rushed to hospital with gunshot wounds.

A GoFundMe fundraiser was created to cover his Victor’s medical expenses, and it has surpassed its $300,000 goal.

Now, according to an update, Victor “is out of the hospital and recovering with his family” although there is still a “long road ahead of healing for our family and the community.”
