OUR SECOND CLIENT FOOD PANTRY DISTRIBUTION WAS AMAZING! Together we served 112 families - 535 individuals- with 153 bags of groceries, cooking supplies and extra snacks! EXTRA THANKS to the high school students from St. Agnes Academy who came out to bag up the groceries on Friday and to all the volunteers from CWS and Houston Welcomes Refugees who showed up on our Saturday event day!

Shout out to our legal team! Last week they held a clinic and helped several refugees take the next step in their journey by providing free services to apply for their Green Cards! ❤

At our first Women for Women Night Market, we were honored by the incredible talent on display by the women of our community. It was night of celebration for the richness available to us as an international city that welcomes newcomers! ❤

What an amazing launch to our client food pantry! Together with our partners , we were able to serve 63 families - almost 300 individuals - with 95 bags of groceries, baking supplies and lots of fun snacks!

Special thanks to Church Bering Memorial United Church of Christ and Hope Church (Houston) for providing two big batches of food, and to Houston Northwest Church for providing an excellent team of volunteers! You are truly a light in this world, and the light is ALWAYS stronger than the darkness! ❤❤❤

For International Women's Month we are thrilled to host our first WOMEN for WOMEN Night Market!

BIG step forward as the shelving is installed! Our new Client Food Pantry is coming along and with each step we are so grateful to all the volunteers and supporters who have donated food, resources and time to get this off the ground! 😁
