Back on March 8, Houston Arboretum held their annual Pub & Pup Expo benefitting BARC, and sponsored in part by Saint Arnold’s Brewery.
🌳🐶🍻🐾
Guests got to shop canine related gifts, learn about trends in dog care, have some beer, and meet the lovely people of BARC who help find adoptees for doggie friends.
🤠👍
Whether coming out with their own pups or seeking to adopt a new fuzzy family member, a good time was had by all, those with four feet and those with two feet.

Good news! Houston Fire Department has confirmed that the Arboretum's southern trails are safe to reopen after Wednesday's prescribed fire.
Please note that there are still smoldering logs and stumps, so smoke may be present in the area. If you encounter smoke, please do not call 911. Arboretum staff members are monitoring the burn unit, but if you are sensitive to smoke, we recommend you avoid the following trails:
❎ Southern portions of the Inner Loop
❎ Southern portions of the Outer Loop
❎ Muscadine Trail
❎ South Meadow Trail
❎ Couch Birding Trail
