This annual bicycle ride in Texas is the primary fundraiser for New Path Adventures' Wilderness Program, benefiting at-risk youth. Help us help them.
By sponsoring a thru-rider on this event your sponsorships are converted into scholarships that will be given to young people for the 2016 summer wilderness adventures. These wilderness adventures are given to youth on probation with the juvenile court system, and are voluntary, non-punitive and faith based. COVID-19 has affected the original plans, but I will still be riding an alternative plan and route. We may not have the riders this year that we normally have, but the need remains the same.
I have to ride for them. Please help if you can. Everything will be an encouragement and will be invested in the life of a young person that needs Christ in his/her life.

200 miles in two days on a road bike in southwest Texas. Could you do it? You would probably be surprised - most likely you can. It really is more mental than physical.
But if you are wanting to train before the ride here is a simple exercise to get you ready for 100 miles each day for 2 days in a row.
Take a two-by-four and stand it on the skinny end. Now sit on it. Keep doing that until you have worked up to 8 hours - NOW YOU'RE READY!!!

Day 1
Nearly perfect day for riding. Great host church, New Beginning Community Church in Parker Colorado. Amazing catered dinner from Antonios Pizza Pasta Wings, in Parker. Great support staff from Direction Church in Texas. 51 miles down. Looking forward to Day 2 and what God has in store for these riders and team. Thank you for supporting and making the difference in the life of an at-risk youth.
