Celebrate your pet, from hand-painted urns to joyful little things 🐾
Alysonwhitney.com I am Alyson Whitney. He lost his life on April 11, 2004. See Ordino’s Urn.

I am a wife, mother, animal lover, world traveler and a passionate artist who fell in love with design, while studying art at SACI, in Florence, Italy. I design and hand-craft celebratory pet memorials and urns. My work is dedicated to my cat that was struck, and killed by a car one afternoon – right in front of me. Charlie’s favorite place was always right next to his human and the bike—ball in mouth, heart full, legs flying. On every ride to the park, he ran like the wind. And when that ball was tossed? A bouquet of flowers is always a sweet way to show love and care when someone’s hurting. To make it even more special, pick their favorites — sunflowers, roses, wildflowers — whatever reminds them of their pet or brings a bit of brightness back in. 💛

A little peek at my paint table — mixing colors, tiny brushes, and a garden scene coming to life. It’s the best kind of mess.

This is Kracker. Just look at him! I swear you can almost see that little bulldog bo**ie wiggle right off this urn. His ‘Ray of Light’ keeps his goofy charm and sunny spirit right where it belongs — close to home. ☀️🐾

Grieving a pet is so personal.
It’s not something you “get over”—it’s something you carry, slowly and gently, over time. Pet Loss Support Friday is a space I created to share ideas, rituals, books, and quiet reminders that helped me through my own grief.

My hope is that these posts bring you a little comfort too.

Meet Daddy O’. (the best name!) Here’s his sweet face and the little garden sketch that’s becoming his piece. Look at that smile.

This is Piddles — a little black and white sweetheart who brought sunshine wherever they went. Their family chose my ‘Ray of Light’ urn to keep that warmth close forever. 🌞✨
