Dear Families,
As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, our school is excited to host Hispanic Heritage Spirit Week from Monday, September 28 through Friday, October 2!
All students and staff are invited to join in the fun as we honor the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. Participation is completely optional, but we encourage everyone to take part in whatever way they choose!
Here is our daily schedule:
Monday, Sept 28 – Sports Jersey Day: Wear your favorite sports team jersey or shirt to represent team spirit!
Tuesday, Sept 29 – Traditional Cultural Attire: Wear traditional clothing, colors, or patterns that represent your heritage or honor Hispanic culture.
Wednesday, Sept 30 – "Como La Flor" & Mustache Day: Inspired by the iconic song, wear flowers, floral patterns, flower crowns, or a fun mustache!
Thursday, Oct 1 – "Dímelo en Español": Wear a shirt featuring a positive, uplifting message in Spanish.
Friday, Oct 2 – Flag Colors Day: Show your pride by wearing the colors of your family’s flag or the flag of a Hispanic country you love!
We look forward to a vibrant week of learning, unity, and fun together. Thank you for your continued support in making our school community a warm and inclusive place for every child.

We are excited to announce that the MRE PTA Spirit Store is up and running! We are currently offering House shirts, MRE t-shirts and hoodies, and MRE hats. More swag will be coming and we'll let you know when a new item drops.

Orders will be processed at the end of each month and delivered to your student at school, likely two weeks after that. Scan the QR code below to get to the store and let's show that MRE Mavs Spirit!

Our Big Kahuna Fundraiser is live! Students received their packets. Please be on the lookout for this information.

Each one of you is an important member of our Big Kahuna Space Crew.

Together, we'll work toward one important mission—helping our school while having an incredible adventure!

Your first mission (STUDENTS) is to take your Big Kahuna fundraising packet home and ask a parent or guardian to help you register online. Then you can share your fundraising link with family and friends near and far.

As soon as you begin selling, be sure to bring in your tickets to start earning the OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD Space Monster Collectibles!

Thank you to all of the families who joined us for our first Love & Logic: Supporting Youth with Special Needs session! 🫶 We loved seeing so many families come together to learn, connect, and support one another.

We’re looking forward to the next session! 💙
