Why haven’t I ever thought about it like that??

When wrapping legs I like to say you are drawing a heart to remember the correct direction for the wraps. The reason you want to wrap this way is because it pulls the ligaments at the back of the leg towards the body and they are less likely to be harmed this way. Pulling the ligaments away from the body can cause them to strain and result in injury.

Hello! My name is Heather and I am the owner of Heart and Soul Ranch! I wanted to share a little about myself and what lead me to my amazing career. I am the owner/mother of 8 dogs, 2 cats, several chickens, 3 ducks, 1 guinea pig and three horses. I have an amazing supportive husband who loves our little zoo just as much as I do.

Equine massage therapy is wonderful for any horse! It doesn’t matter if your horse is young, old, riding or retired! Massage also releases endorphins! Who doesn’t want a happy and healthy horse??
