Since I don’t have time to pick the saw back up right now, here’s a throwback to a project I never posted. Portraits are my favorite things ever ❤️

As much as I love a good challenge, sometimes these simple pieces are a breathe of fresh air.

The electric rainbow colors make my heart happy. I hope whatever classroom it makes it’s way into enjoys looking at it as much as I do. 😍

All day long, all the way to the shop, and with every cut I began to make tonight, my brain told me I wasn’t capable and that I was wasting my time even trying. Even still, I decided to chug some coffee and push through to cut my last piece in my queue. When I stepped back and looked at what I’d just done, I sat down and cried.

It’s been such a hard month. Every day has been mentally exhausting and depression finally sunk its teeth into me this summer. But little by little, I’m climbing my way out of it and I’ve been smiling a little more with each day that passes.

I made this for a friend that needs a pick me up right now, but perhaps it was ME that needed to see it.

If your holding on by a thread, this is your sign. You will rise. It will get better. We are in this together ✊🏻💪🏻

Everything hurts and I’m dying. It was a labor of love and I’m glad to be done. But it looks cool huh?

As I prepare for the start of nursing school, I am temporarily shutting down to finish my existing orders.

It’s always a happy day when you have to shut down the shop because your TOO busy!

Once I get settled into this new chapter and get into the swing of things, I’ll update everyone and open the floor for orders!

With every piece that leaves my shop, my belief in my own capabilities and the passion I have for woodworking increases. Starting TWK Designs is the best thing I’ve ever done for myself and I am so proud of what these clumsy hands have sent out the doors of my shop.
