**POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED**

Swivel is looking to add a lead guitarist to our lineup. What we need is someone who can beef up our live shows as a second guitar player using cool background textures, leads, and solos.

Lead guitarist should -
Be familiar with the genre. (FFO Helmet, Hum, Dinosaur Jr., Lemonheads, Smashing Pumpkins)
Understand basic music theory just enough to be able to riff and solo in the correct key.
Have pro gear (def a pedalboard with the essentials for the style), experience, and transportation.
Be able to rehearse downtown Houston when prepping for a show.

Our goal is to write and record songs that we're proud of and play a handful of local shows a year, maybe the occasional weekend road trip with some out of town shows. If you're looking to tour your ass off, Swivel probably isn't the band you're looking to join unless you just want a side piece. If you’re looking to join a fun low pressure band and you think you’d be a good fit please hit us up.

Happy New Year from the Swivel camp! 2023 was a big step for us. In our second year as a band we finally played our first few shows and put out our first studio record. This year we plan to record some more tunes and play some out of town shows as well. Thanks to everyone who has checked us out so far, we're looking forward to 2024!
