Mother Nature was trying to break me for sure …. During this event we had Hurricane Beryl days before and as the cherry on top a huge storm happened right after we were almost 100% set up for the event and guests were to arrive soon. Recap - we had to put everything under the pavilion space to save it from the rain. Many items fell over, blew away and or got wet. It was complete madness! The rain was crazy and the winds were so strong. It rain for an hour and as my team and vendors looked around it looked like it wasn’t going to happen- but that was not an option for me. After the storm settled a bit- the best bet was to keep all setups under the pavilion. We didn’t want to risk anyone or anything getting rained on. It was a tight squeeze but we made it happened. And honestly it still turned out to be a beautiful event. Right as the client and guests arrived- the rain slowly stopped and the ambience of the event was amazing. Tropical decor, Hawaiian music, lagoon views, refreshing drinks, pineapple bowls, hula dancers and lots of love and laughter. Our client and guests didn’t realize all the chaos that happened before they arrived (until now 🤪) but we prefer it that way because our job is to make your visions come true. We can’t control Mother Nature Ofcourse but we can problem solve and still manage to make your event come to life. Reason 714 to always hire an event planner for your events because you won’t have to worry about it - we will!
