Within the last 5 years went from delivering cookies for Tiff’s Treats to co-producing and mixing a RIAA certified platinum single and gold album. More than half of that time Adam mixed using a simple headphone setup.

Maybe the thing I found most inspiring about this conversation with Adam, was that he was able to do so much incredible work using only a simple headphone setup. Only as recently as the last couple of years has he shifted to the beautiful PMC 6-2’s you see in his studio.

We so often focus on those resources that we don’t have, rather than what we can achieve with those that we do. This was a nice reminder to myself that the barrier’s to entry that we put between ourselves and our goals, are often self imposed and honestly, just not real. It’s not about what you have. It’s about what you can do with what you have.
