This week, we hosted another round of our Lunch & Learn series on June 9 and 10, with Sathish Ramamoorthy presenting on Fitness-For-Service and providing an overview of three different case studies, continuing our commitment to advancing engineering knowledge across disciplines.
For 50 years, we've built technical excellence through the continuous exchange of proven methodologies, lessons from complex investigations, and rigorous validation practices. These sessions reinforce our multidisciplinary expertise and help us resolve critical uncertainty for our clients.

At ASME OMAE 2026 in Tokyo this week, Kenneth Bhalla presents research on a hybrid physics-based digital twin system — built on NeoSight — for dynamically positioned drilling vessels.
Combining physics-based modeling with machine learning, the system generates real-time watch circles, optimizes vessel operability, and supports wellhead integrity in demanding offshore environments.
Thursday, June 11. 10:20 AM–12:00 PM JST.

Our engineers will be in St. Louis next week for the API 2026 Summer Exploration and Production Standards Meeting, June 15–19. They will attend and participate in standards-setting committees, contributing technical expertise to the specifications that govern oilfield equipment and materials across the industry.
When your operations must meet API requirements, it matters who helped establish them. Our engineers don't just apply these standards; they help shape them, bringing 50 years of field-validated methodology to the process of defining what rigorous looks like.
Replacing a Coke drum costs about $100 million, but our Equipment Health Monitoring Systems have helped clients delay that decision by over 10 years. To determine how long your coker can run safely, you need more than a model—your decision requires data validation.
Our extensively populated database allows refinery managers and coker-unit supervisors to identify cracks and bulges, track damage progression, plan remediation, and determine the remaining life of their equipment.

Independence is not a business preference. It is a technical requirement for defensible engineering analysis.
Our 100% ESOP ownership structure ensures that technical judgment remains independent of external commercial pressures. Our conclusions serve the engineering question, not the client's preference. Fifty years. Zero conflicts of interest.
Our 2026 client satisfaction data reflect what 50 years of proven methodology delivers: 100% average satisfaction rating.
Client feedback confirms our approach: "The entire process was excellent—from the initial quote request to the delivery of the final report. I would gladly recommend their services."
Independent analysis. Rigorous ex*****on. Defensible results that our clients depend on.

The problems that reach us exist at the frontier of technical complexity. Questions that exceed most firms' experience. Analysis that requires infrastructure most organizations do not own.
This is the work we have refined over fifty years. We exist for engineering problems that require definitive answers. Proven methodology. Complete independence. Analysis that withstands challenge.

This Memorial Day, we honor those who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice secures the freedoms we exercise every day, and we observe this day in their memory.

Material selection determines performance limits. Material degradation defines operational risk.
Our materials engineering practice addresses questions that arise when standard specifications do not account for actual service conditions. These include corrosion mechanisms in complex chemical environments, hydrogen embrittlement in high-pressure systems, and thermal degradation under sustained elevated temperatures.
We establish what is occurring at the microstructural level. We quantify the progression. We determine the implications for continued operation. This is engineering that protects performance by eliminating material uncertainty.
Independent. Rigorous. Defensible.
