Dear Facebook! No need to keep sending me Facebook Dating App invites, advertisements and such! Me and God already had a talk about how me and mines would be connected. I’m old school. Thanks a bunch!! Besides I’m tired of seeing these old heads trying to be YN’s and trying to blueprint and say what we think we want them to say. We can smell it from 10 miles away 🤭.

*My true life experience today*

Today I was driving on the feeder of I-10 and saw the most saddening and disturbing thing I’ve ever seen. I won’t expose too many details out of respect.

A woman who appeared to be homeless with a shopping cart filled with her possessions was talking to herself and slowly walking along a busy intersection on her way towards the sidewalk.

Some people stopped to go around her while some just stopped and stared at her.

The saddest part was when she stopped almost completely out of the intersection and barely on the sidewalk out of the way from cars to pull a plastic cup out of her cart to then slightly squat to urinate in it while she was facing all the cars and people. Then she poured the urine out, shook the cup out, put it back in her cart, and went on about her business.

I was so hurt and couldn’t believe what I had just witnessed. All I could do was pray for the woman at that point. I also prayed for all the people that saw her, passed judgment on her, laughed at her, made derogatory statements about black people and those dealing with mental illnesses, the less fortunate and even those that take life for granted at moments in life including myself.

I can’t speak for anyone else but I can honestly say that I do my best to be an honorable person but I’m not perfect. I have my moments in life where I have to reflect on decisions or thoughts and intentionally choose to grow from them while appreciating even the simple things that God gives me EVERY DAY.

I actively try my best to appreciate life in the present and acknowledge where I’ve been, where I am and where I’m going. Tomorrow is not promised in the sense of life itself or my mental and physical abilities and I just have to slow down, thank God and take things a day at a time!

I don’t know that woman’s story and I pray God be with her and protect her. I’m humbled to know that at any moment life can change slightly or drastically, therefore Father God I thank you for being my creator and the keeper of my life! LEAD and GUIDE me every day and at every moment and allow me to always be able to recognize your HAND!

Houstonians! I know yall betta not be at those grocery stores buying up all the water and toilet paper for these 2 drops of rain we need. Ain’t that much dry throat and 💩 yall gon do in 1 day 😂

My little client says asked if I had a trampoline. I told her I did when my kids were little.

Then she said “How do you have kids Ms Roz?”

I said “I had them like your mommy had you” Then I quickly started singing the Bluey intro 😅🤣

While handling some of my granny’s estate business, they asked what’s her current employer. I said currently her employer is God and she’s working as an angel 😂. I know they sickaaa me 😝! Bc girl I know good and well you see “ESTATE” and all them previous account notes 😑😂. Roz Aponte
