Feminine Care Led by a Women’s Health Expert
🔥 Hot flashes are not “just a part of aging”… they are one of the most common symptoms women experience during perimenopause and menopause — and for many women, they can affect sleep, mood, confidence, and daily life.
In today’s video I’m talking about Lynkuet (elinzanetant), a newer non-hormonal option being studied for hot flash relief. Unlike Veozah (fezolinetant), which targets one receptor pathway (NK3), Lynkuet works on two pathways (NK1 and NK3 receptors) involved in temperature regulation and menopause symptoms.
Clinical studies have shown improvement in hot flashes as early as 7 days, with continued improvement over 12 weeks, including benefits with sleep for some women.
I also love seeing women like Gabrielle Union use their platform to talk openly about menopause and the things so many women quietly experience. When women with influence share their stories, it helps normalize the conversation and reminds us we don’t have to suffer in silence. 💜
Menopause conversations matter. Your symptoms matter. Your health matters.

Did you know the average age of menopause is around 51 years old? But not every woman experiences menopause the same way. Whew the saxophones are getting louder 😒😩
Research shows that Black and Hispanic women often enter menopause earlier than White women and may experience more severe symptoms that last longer. Asian women may have different symptom patterns altogether. Yet many women are never taught what to expect.
Even Oprah Winfrey has spoken openly about her experience. She suffered from heart palpitations, saw multiple doctors, underwent extensive cardiac testing, and was even placed on heart medication before learning her symptoms were actually related to perimenopause. The possibility of menopause wasn’t discussed, delaying answers and treatment
If one of the most well-known women in the world struggled to get answers, imagine how many everyday women are navigating this transition feeling confused, dismissed, or alone.
That’s exactly why I created Vagesty Village, a community where women can connect, share their experiences, get evidence-based education, practical tips, and support through perimenopause and menopause.
💜 You don’t have to figure this out by yourself.

This is one reason. Other reasons such as partner treatment and getting tested for ureaplasma/mycoplasma is discussed in other videos. I would recommend talking with your provider for best treatment plan for you. Taking both the prescribed medication and a biofilm disruptor can truly make a difference. Then don’t forget to recolonize the environment by taking probiotics daily. Specifically the strain L. Crispatus. One brand that carries it is Happy V. Boric acid suppositories from Vagesty of course 😍💜🫶🏾
Sip Sing and Recharge I hope to see you there 💜
As of October 2025 ACOG recommends partner treatment for cases of reoccurring BV. (also I’m not currently paying for UptoDate 😂 so any of my colleagues that does let me know if it’s on UpToDate)
This full body wash is one of our best selling products! This wash is amazing. Aloe Vera, Lavender and Tea Tree, it’s so tea! The girls that know, know and they stock up for sure! My plan is to offer 8oz bottles because clearly it’s needed!
