FOOTBALL | Ramey will be the ninth head football coach in the school's history, including the fourth in the last four years.

Northland returns to 11-man football and is in a tough district with Shiner St. Paul, Hallettsville Sacred Heart, Tomball Rosehill Christian, Temple Central Texas Christian and Houston Westbury Christian, which is also returning to 11-man football under Kris O'Neal.

Northland Christian School is excited to announce the appointment of Johnathan Ramey as Head Football Coach and Strength & Conditioning Coordinator for the Cougars athletic program.

With more than a decade of coaching experience at the Division I, Junior College, and High School levels, Coach Ramey has built a reputation for developing disciplined, accountable, and competitive student-athletes. He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from Houston Baptist University.

His coaching experience includes stops at:
• Houston Christian High School

• Queen City High School
• Ellsworth Community College
• Trinity High School

In addition to football, Coach Ramey has extensive experience in strength and conditioning, overseeing programs that produced multiple State Powerlifting qualifiers and significant growth in student-athlete performance.

“We are excited to welcome Coach Ramey to Northland Christian School,” said Roger Elswick. “His passion for Christ-centered leadership and player development aligns perfectly with the mission of Northland Athletics.”

Coach Ramey looks forward to building meaningful relationships with players, families, and the Northland community while establishing a program rooted in faith, excellence, discipline, and integrity.
