The Writer’s Gallery opened a new exhibit last night, a masterclass in imagery. Facilitator , Literary Virtuoso of curated the room like a true visionary, placing our local legends front and center, elevating their words as works of art.
Every prompt became a vivid canvas. Every writer, a featured artist painting scenes you could feel.
To our participants — thank you for bringing your brilliance to the gallery walls.

Whooodaaawhooo 🔥 we are still LIT from Career Day at ! 🏫
We opened the doors to the publishing 🌎 and watched their imaginations catch fire! From brainstorming to editing, from choosing a title to designing book covers — these brilliant young minds became mini publishers right before our eyes. 📚💫
Seeing a room full of minority students light up as they realized their voices matter and their stories deserve to be told hit home in the most beautiful way. It aligns with our ❤️

Zora’s Place is more than a bookstore—it’s a sanctuary. A sacred space reminding us that our stories are worthy of being preserved, printed, and passed on.

Whooodaaawhooo Happy Banned Books Week!! Remember they don’t ban lies, they ban revolutions.
Books that make you question the system, feel empathy, remember the scars, the songs, the sacrifice, and the power blazing within you .
Stories by Black hands, q***r pens, and brave hearts are being ripped from shelves because truth makes cowards tremble.
But silence has NEVER saved us.
So we read louder‼️
We pass the banned pages like sacred scripture.
Because every “CENSORED” stamp is proof we’re powerful. 1st they criminalized reading, now they are criminalizing the books themselves. READING IS REBELLION. Stay IGNITED ❤️🔥
