God Whispers
FEB 07, 2024
Today's Scripture
After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.
1 Kings 19:12, NIV
Today’s Word
In today’s Scripture, the prophet Elijah was in a difficult place, discouraged and defeated. He needed direction. God told him to go stand on the mountain, that He was about to pass. There was a great wind that tore the mountain apart, then a great earthquake, then a great fire, but God was not in any of those. After the fire, “There came a gentle whisper.”
God was showing us how He speaks. When your circumstances are loud, thoughts are telling you what’s not going to work out, and people are coming against you, it’s easy to get stressed and confused. You have to come back to that quiet place. The reason God whispers is because He’s close to you. You don’t whisper to strangers or people you barely know. You whisper to your spouse, to your child, to someone you know and love. That’s why God whispers to you. You’re His child. He loves you. He wants the best for you. He’s not going to shout, be loud, or be forceful. He’ll lead you by these gentle whispers, by the still small voice.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You know my needs and meet me in the place of my needs all along my life journey. Thank You that You love me so much that You whisper what I need to know and renew me with inner strength. Help me to be a good listener and doer of Your word. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Another Chance
NOV 25, 2023
Today's Scripture
2 Timothy 4:11, NIV
Get Mark and bring him with you, because he is helpful to me in my ministry.
Today's Word
In Acts 13, during Paul’s first missionary journey with Barnabas, a young assistant named Mark “deserted” them and returned to Jerusalem. No reason is given as to why, but it was a great mistake that broke his relationship with Paul. Later, in Acts 15, Barnabas wanted to take Mark with them on Paul’s second missionary journey, but Paul refused. It led to such a sharp disagreement that Paul and Barnabas went separate ways in their ministries. I imagine Mark lived with deep regret about his broken relationship with Paul. But many years later, Paul is in prison and knows he’s about to die, and he tells Timothy to bring Mark to help with what remains of his ministry. God not only restored their relationship, but most scholars believe that Mark went on to write the Gospel of Mark.
You may have relationships that you think are too far gone, too broken to be restored, but God can soften hearts. It’s not too much for the mercy of God. Get ready for another chance. You’re going to see restoration.
Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that no matter what challenges I face, You have the final word over all things, including broken relationships. Thank You that You are working behind the scenes and bringing restoration to what I thought was dead. I believe that You are bringing second chances. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Secure
Feb 07, 2023
Today’s Scripture
Romans 12:6, NLT
In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well.
Today’s Word
When you're secure in who God made you to be, you don't feel less-than because you can't do what somebody else does. God has given us different gifts. You don't feel inferior because your friend is a doctor and you don't have a college degree. Your security is not in how you perform, in what you do, what you wear, or what title is behind your name. Your security is in the fact that you are a child of Almighty God. You realize you are His masterpiece, fearfully and wonderfully made, equipped, empowered, approved, and anointed. You find your value in who you are and not what you do.
Otherwise, you'll spend your whole life competing with others, trying to prove your importance, trying to convince them to be for you. "Look at my car. Look at the business I've built. Look at my position. Look at how great of shape I'm in." That's all fine, but it's superficial. Stay focused on what you're called to do, do it well, and live for God's applause.
Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that You have given me gifts and talents to fulfill my destiny, and they are different from what others have been given. Thank You for the blessing of being different and the privilege of making the most of what You've given me. I am secure and content with who I am. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Declare a Decree
Nov 03, 2022
Today's Scripture
“I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You.’”
Psalm 2:7, NKJV
Today’s Word
The psalmist says, “I will declare a decree.” A decree was an official written order usually having the force of law. He was saying, “I’m going to start speaking this decree.” We can do the same and speak decrees. You should write down your goals and what you want to see happen in your life. Then declare that decree out loud every day. Something happens when we speak. You are prophesying your future. Those words will change your outlook and change who you are.
You can personalize your decree, but here are some areas that should be on your decree. “I am strong. I am healthy. I am full of energy. I am passionate. I am talented. I am valuable. I am confident. I have a good personality. I am happy. I enjoy my life. I am a person of excellence. I am full of integrity. I am successful. I am prosperous. I run with purpose in every step. I am blessed. I am victorious. I am a child of the Most High God.”
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that my words have the power of a decree to change my life and become my reality. Help me to give my faith a voice by declaring words of blessing over myself and my future daily. I believe that You are going to bless me with an abundance of good things. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Don’t Be Moved
Oct 22, 2022
Today’s Scripture
Acts 20:24, NKJV
None of these things move me, nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy...
Today’s Word
Life is too short for you to go through it drifting, feeling negative, discouraged, and passionless. Get your hopes back up. If you don't have an expectancy in your spirit that something good is coming, it will limit what God can do. You have to stir up the hope and keep anchored to it. When you're anchored to hope, you may have negative circumstances, but you're not moved by worry because you know that God is fighting your battles. You know that God is behind the scenes arranging things in your favor. You may have a disappointment, but you don't get bitter. You know that weeping may endure for a night, but joy is coming in the morning.
To be anchored to hope doesn't mean you won't have difficulties; it means that when those difficulties come, you won't be moved. Nothing big or small will move you or cause you to pull up your anchor. There will be waves and winds, but you're consistent, your hope is in the Lord.
Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that my faith and trust are anchored to You and Your mighty power at work in my life. Thank You that I don't have to be moved by the tests and troubles I face because I know that You are fighting my battles. I declare that my hope is in You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Planted and Flourishing
Oct 17, 2022
Today’s Scripture
Psalm 92:13, NKJV
Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
Today’s Word
The Scripture says that when you're plugged into a community of faith, there is a blessing on your life that will cause you to bloom, to blossom, and to flourish. You will reach levels that you couldn't reach on your own. This is true because Jesus says, "Where two or three are gathered together in My Name, I am there in the midst of them." How about when one hundred are gathered, or one thousand? We each bring God with us. In His presence is healing and the fullness of joy. Together, our faith and strength are multiplied.
Given so much trouble in the world today, more than ever we need to plant ourselves in the house of the Lord to draw strength and encouragement from one another. David says, "I love Your sanctuary, the place where Your glory shines." As you gather together, God's glory and favor will shine down on you. You have to make it a priority to be there. You were not created to do life on your own.
Prayer for Today
Father, thank You for the promise that when I am plugged into a community of faith, I will flourish. Thank You that when we gather in Jesus' Name, He is in our midst, and His glory shines upon us. I declare that I am making it my priority to plant myself in Your house. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Today's Scripture
Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, but the LORD rescues him from them all.
Psalm 34:19, AMP
Today’s Word
God never said we wouldn’t have difficulties. Being a person of faith doesn’t exempt us from challenges and unfair situations. That’s a part of life. The promise in today’s Scripture is not that you won’t have difficulties, but that God will bring you out of “them all.” When you’re in the adversity, your report should be, “I’m coming out. This sickness is temporary. This trouble is not the end. This addiction is not permanent. This slowdown in my business is just for a season.” Right now, you may not be able to see it, but God is in the adversity with you and is in the process of bringing you out. You’re not going to come out the same. You’re going to come out stronger, free from things that were holding you back, with a greater trust in God, a greater confidence, a greater faith. That’s getting you prepared for the next level of your destiny. With every experience, something is deposited in you that you’re going to use down the road.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that no matter what hardship or trouble I face, I can stay in peace knowing that You will rescue me from them all. Thank You that You are right here with me in the challenge. I declare that I am coming out of it stronger and ready for the next level You are taking me to. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

“GOD WILL MAKE A WAY WHERE THERE SEEMS TO BE NO WAY, HE IS THE PROMISE KEEPER!”
We all have been in situations where we have wondered if there is a way out of our problem. God is a God of miracles. He can make a way where there is no way. He works in ways that we cannot see, or begin to understand. He will make a way for us, He will be our guide, He will hold us closely to His side, with love and strength for each new day. No matter what the problem or mountain or difficulties we are facing today, we are reminded that, there is Nothing too big or impossible for God. God will make a way where it seems there is no way, because He is, Waymaker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper, Light in the darkness!
God loves to work in our lives in new ways. We should not always look for Him to do in us, or for us what He has done before, but we should expect the unexpected. Remember, God doesn’t promise to keep us out of the wilderness or away from the desert. But when we belong to Him, He does promise to sustain us there and renew our lives, even in tough times.
Isaiah 43:16-21 (NLT).
“I am the LORD, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea. I called forth the mighty army of Egypt with all its chariots and horses. I drew them beneath the waves, and they drowned, their lives snuffed out like a smoldering candlewick. “But forget all that it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. The wild animals in the fields will thank me, the jackals and owls, too, for giving them water in the desert. Yes, I will make rivers in the dry wasteland so my chosen people can be refreshed. I have made Israel for myself, and they will someday honor me before the whole world.”
According to scripture, God will go before us and make the crooked places straight, He will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. We need to believe that He is working behind the scenes, and trust Him to make a way for us even when we feel like giving up, even when it seems like there is no point in holding on to hope. We don’t have to give up, it’s not over because God is working everything together for our good, (Romans 8:28).
Abraham found himself in a situation that seemed hopeless when he took his beloved son Isaac, his only son, up to the mountain to sacrifice him before God. And in this situation- where there seemed to be no way out of it, God made a way, (Genesis 22:9-14).
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You that Your promises to all Your children are “Yes” and “Amen!” Thank You for I believe You will make a way for me where there seems to be no way. Father, You reminded me often Who You are, “The Waymaker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper, Light in the darkness, especially when I feel overwhelmed with inadequacies, or those things which seem impossible. Father, help me to recall all Your goodness, Your faithfulness arnd what You have promised to all Your children. Help me to secure my hope in You. Father, thank You for Your faithfulness and Your unconditional love. I love You so much! In Jesus Name I pray, AMEN!

Jesus Calling
December 31
AS THIS YEAR DRAWS TO A CLOSE, receive My Peace. This is still your deepest need, and I, your Prince of Peace, long to pour Myself into your neediness. My abundance and your emptiness are a perfect match. I designed you to have no sufficiency of your own. I created you as a jar of clay, set apart for sacred use. I want you to be filled with My very Being, permeated through and through with Peace.
Thank Me for My peaceful Presence, regardless of your feelings. Whisper My Name in loving tenderness. My Peace, which lives continually in your spirit, will gradually work its way through your entire being.
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
—Isaiah 9:6
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
—2 Corinthians 4:7
“But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
—John 14:26–27
The Fourth Man
Dec 31, 2021
Today’s Scripture
Daniel 3:25, NKJV
"Look!" he answered, "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God."
Today’s Word
When the three Hebrew teenagers were thrown into the fiery furnace because they wouldn’t bow to King Nebuchadnezzar’s golden idol, they were bound with cords. They should have been killed instantly, but when the king gazed into the furnace, he saw four unbound men, and one who looked like the Son of God. Here’s my point: Your hands may be tied today—you’ve worked, prayed, believed, and done the right thing, but it seems like your dream is never going to work out. The good news is that God’s hands are not tied. He’s not limited by what’s limiting you.
I believe that what’s restricted you in the past has lost its grip—that addiction, that sickness, that lack, the bad breaks. It’s a new day. The fourth man has shown up. Like the Hebrew teenagers, you’re coming out, not bound but loosed, free, whole, vindicated, promoted, with that dream you were believing for. Your hands are not tied anymore. God is releasing you into new levels of your destiny in 2022.
Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that whatever has restricted me in the past has lost its grip because Your Son defeated the enemy on the cross and has brought me into freedom. Thank You that my hands are no longer tied. I believe that the fourth man has set me free. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
