Smokey still shadows the areas of the barn staying out of everyone's way. Not one to wonder. She is about 1 year old, approx. 4 pounds and a healthy barn cat.

What else can we call this kitten other than smokey. About 3 months old. Solid medium gray. Small. Only about 2 pounds, but healthy. Will likely get larger with some supplemental food.

Jazzy is a tiger stripe female with a hint of orange coloring in her light hair and a fluffy tail. She is about 4-5 months old, 2 lbs but has a strong build. She is just now allowing light touches. Follows us around though 😁

Streak is a very female, solid black. Friendly, very adventurous and loves dogs!

Shiela is a girly girl. Does a bit more preening than hunting. But travels all over the barn yard, so not a scardey cat. Mostly white on bottom with calico markings on her face and back.

We ARE NOT a 501c3 non profit, so we have a plan that ensures that we're not "making money" and that the adopter knows exactly where their cost to spay/neuter or transport a rescue is being spent.

If we have a "barn" cat that you would like to adopt, we will make arrangements to take the cat to be spayed/neutered at a snap facility that you can pay directly. We take care of the transport to snap and the after surgery care. Once the cat has recovered, we can deliver them directly to you for a transportation fee to cover the cost of gas, within a 100 mile radius of our home. This solution helps barn owners who want to help solve the feral cat problem, but don't have the time to handle the process. And, of course, we all get the joy of helping a rough & tough, outdoorsy cat find a home that is just perfect for their personality. If you wish to sponsor an adoption, we can do that also.

Some of our rescues are wild & free and some like to get a morning pet or scratch before they enjoy a day of hunting those pesky rodents and snakes on the property. All of our rescues are much happier with an independent lifestyle and are quite knowledgeable about wintering in the barn, drinking from the water tank, used to livestock (although chickens may be iffy for some of our best hunters) and are just all around tough as nails Texas barn cats.

Cookies - male/nuetered.
This boy is probably around one year old, playful and loving. Half gray and half white.
He follows me around the barn and gets along well with other cats and the barn dogs. Spends a lot of time working around in the barn. Checking out all those little corners.
