the second half of the hunting year for the ranch couldn't have started any better, maybe cooler temps. Chris was finally able to connect with this absolutely gorgeous chocolate fallow after having to watch him on camera for a year.Chris's son Owen got his feet wet in hunting with a perfect shot on a black buck doe, next animal will have horns for sure! Last but not least we introduced hunting to Clive with his beautiful black buck, pretty sure he's hooked as well. Already making plans for the spring time and I can't wait! Congratulations fellows!

Trophies from C3J picked up today!

Thanks to everyone that called or text to check on the ranch and was willing to help out. Fences have mostly been repaired but the roads not so much. Animals have settled down and are showing up on cameras again. Little concerned about the whitetail fawns as I didn't see many of those hopefully just laying up in the brush. Future hunts still good to go! PS even Lucy made it out ok.

Just want to give everyone an update, the ranch has been hit extremely hard by the storms. Probably looking at 18+" of rain last few days. My dad has made repairs once and now everything is tore up again. I will update every one that has booked future hunts on the out come in weeks to come. Picture is from my neighbors place of a normally dry Creek. Prays for everyone affected.

Michael and Collin finally made it back out to the ranch. We were limited on time but Collin definitely made the best of it with a beautiful 36" oryx bull. Hopefully y'all can come back when we all have more time to hunt and catch up. Good free hand shooting Mr Collin. Congratulations

Sean and Caylee, our Texas Dirt Divas raffle winners finally made it out to the ranch. I wouldn't say it came down to the last hour but it was definitely the last hunt. Finally a beautiful 33" axis made the mistake and showed up where Sean was set up. Sean wasted no time in dropping the big buck in his tracks. Congratulations 🎉. Thanks to everyone who helps support these young athletes to chase their dreams!

Kevin brought his family out to the ranch to build some memories and also to fill the freezer. Kevin got him a big healthy Nilgai cow and his son Grayson got him a tasty black buck doe. Already looking to see when we can do it again. Thanks for letting me and C3J be a part of those memories.
