A recent study found gum disease can be associated with severe COVID-19 outcomes and other medical conditions.

Why is Gum Disease Awareness Month important? 85% of U.S. adults have some form of gum disease, the disease usually has symptoms so subtle and painless that most people shrug it off. Our goal is to continually raise awareness of the prevalence of gum disease and consequences of untreated disease, while encouraging our patients to take an active role in better oral health through prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
