* Amazing customer service. You’ll be greeting guest so a friendly face and patience is always needed.
* Organization skill. You’ll keep my crazy schedule in check and keep the salon looking on point for our guest.
* Inventory. Lifting boxes, pricing, update inventory, and checking in products.
* Prepping guest. You’ll be cleaning the station after each client and prepping each room and tray for my next client.
* Math skills. You’ll be mixing most of my color so be ready with a notepad or a calculator. Adding grams, ounces and fractions is a necessity.
* Color applications. At times you’ll be applying toners and assisting me with applications.
* Shampooing. If your fingers are magical and can give an amazing scalp massage, our guest will love you.
* Styling. Be ready to give amazing blowouts and styles.
* Transportation. Running errands for salon, lunch runs for us and our guest will be needed.
* Be ready for a fast paced environment and to be on your feet for 6-12 hours.

Our goal: ashier blonde, deeper brunette, tipped out ends with blonde, money piece, and more dimension towards the crown
.
⭐️step one: base color- 2oz 6.01 + 2 Oz 7.1 + 20 vol + 1:1.5 + 35 mins applied to new growth and blended into lighter ends
⭐️ technique: full highlight using a textured weave, teasylights and teased slices + Money piece.
⭐️ pulled bleach to ends once new growth area lifted to a yellow orange and painted bleach onto ends that were left out to start lightening them up too
⭐️ new growth- BB Bleach 9 + 20vol + 1:1.5 + processed to yellow orange
⭐️previously lighter mids and ends BB BLEACH 9 + 1:1.5 + 10vol + process to pale yellow . All bleach had bond booster to help the hair strong through the process
⭐️ root shadow- alfaparf color wear 5 + 10vol oxido + 1:2

Our goal was to bring the color back up to her roots and tone the blonde down a little.

Here’s what I did:
⭐️placement for a partial highlight using a baby light weave technique
⭐️color on new growth alfaparf revolution 1 Oz 6.1 + 3oz 7.1 + 1:1.5 + 20vol + 35 mins
⭐️babylights- BB bleach 9 + 20vol + 1:1.5 + process to a yellow. Added bond booster to formulation to protect hair during service.

Our goal was to have a blonde but a low maintenance blonde for this busy momma. We kept her blonde around the face to keep her feeling and looking blonde but kept the dimension towards the top and crown area.

Here’s what I did:
⭐️ Face frame/hairline highlights with a money piece
BB Bleach + 20vol oxido + 1:1.5 processed to a pale yellow
⭐️ Root shadow 7 + 10vol oxido + 1:2
⭐️ Toner mid-lengths to ends 10.13 (2 Oz) + 9.02 (1 Oz) + 10 vol oxido + 1:2 process for 15 mins

Stage 2

It’s been a process and taken time but we finally reached the blonde tones.

Our first session we went from black box color to a medium brown and our second session we reached the blonde tones.
.
Steps taken in our second session:
⭐️ Applied BB Bleach 9 + 10vol 1:1.5 - back to back slices
⭐️ pre-toned using Alfaparf color wear - root shadow 6 + 7 + 1:2 5vol / mid lengths to ends 9.02 + 10.21 + 5 vol + 1:2 = 20mins
⭐️ toned mid lengths to ends with alfaparf color wear gloss 9.1 + 9.5 vol sp.liquid 1:2 = 15 mins
⭐️ treatment - semi di lino reconstructive reparative mask + semi di lino sublime cellula madre restructuring multiplier = 15 mins

From never having color to finally taking that step is nerve wrecking! But their the best clients to have. To be able to break them in and introduce them to the world of hair color. This is my favorite because it was her first time to get color done and she trust that I would lead her in the right direction for her first color and I love the outcome. Went with face framing money piece and kept the depth in her crown and balayaged her ends to make a difference but not something too startling for the first time.

Dark hair, just as beautiful as blonde or any other color. I love this because she went darker and added extensions for length and fullness. Like I have said before color should not just complement your skin tone and eye color but your personality and style and this definitely goes with her. .

Box color. A colorist worst enemy. You never know what you’ll get and surprisingly the end results are beautiful. It’s my favorite because it’s a rich brunette that makes her glow and after a long process her hair is just gorgeous.

Taking a blonde to a dimensional blonde is my favorite because there’s depth and brightness at the same time. And the the most important thing is you don’t have to come in as often to see me :)

This has been one of my favorite because extensions helped her save her hair. After a process gone wrong at home, extensions came to the rescue and were kept until her hair grew to a length she was ok with.

Extensions have been my favorite thing to do lately. It’s not only because it’s great to add length for those who desire it but it can make your hair look fuller and bouncier. This is one of my favorites because it makes her hair look amazing! It has so much more thickness and makes the color pop even more too.

Coppers have been trending lately and I really like it. This has been one of my favorites because we played with keeping some of her blonde but toned it a little warmer and blended it into the cooper. It’s a beautiful pallet of colors.

Someone recently said “I think all your clients have the longest, thickest, darkest hair.” 😆 they’re kinda right but I love how long and beautiful their hair is. I love this color because it’s subtle yet stunning. Not everyone wants blonde hair and that’s perfectly fine. The perfect color is the one that goes not only with your skin tone and eye color but also that goes with your personality.

Blonding, a service that requires patience, experience, and knowledge. Also, lots and lots of good products to help your hair after a blonding session. This color is one of my favorite colors because of the beautiful honey tones I was able to achieve.

I can say that color corrections are my absolutely favorite things to do. In the beginning of my career it was definitely one of the services I disliked the most. And I know I probably wouldn’t of touched her hair being to afraid to do something wrong. I know young hair colorist me would of never thought she would be able to make this happen.

Vivids are another one of my favorite colors to do. Not many ask for green tones and I was so excited to be able to turn her into a beautiful emerald green. And that smile says everything 💚

Honestly, any color correction is my favorite thing to do. Some are easier than others but this one in particular is my favorite because she had been try achieve a blonde and no one had been able to do it and would leave her in the brassy orange tones. I’m glad I was able to get her closer to her dream hair. .

This has been one of my favorite extension client because she had to get an emergency surgery that required them to shave her hair and after a while that it grew out I was able to help her blend in the short hair area with the rest of her hair. To have that amazing feeling of being able to help someone feel better about themselves is priceless. .

Getting here from where she started was a journey. From a golden blonde to a platinum tone takes patience and overall knowledge to be able to achieve a healthy outcome. Finishing the look with 20inch extensions wrapped up this look making her hair look AMAZING! It’s one of my favorites because at the time matching extension tones to the natural hair was a little nerve wrecking but to see and trust my new knowledge come to life and see how everything came together made me very happy and proud of the work I did.

How did I come up with it?
It’s my Family’s name. My dad’s last name and as you can tell, I’m proud of it too.

Not sure where it came from or exactly what it means but I just know it’s my dad’s last name and proud to name my salon after one of my ultimate role models is my life. The man who engraved in my mind that hard work pays off and no matter where you start from you can always have a better life, as long as you put the work in and do your part. I’m not one of my brothers to carry on the name but I at least tried to make it work with naming my salon after my Pá (Dad). 💙

Thank you everyone for keeping me busy during the holidays and throughout the pandemic. I appreciate you all so very much! As we all know prices for many things have gone up. One example for me is a box of foils use to be about $10-$14 and now $18-$25. All of my supply cost has gone up tremendously and with this inflammation of cost I will also need to increase my prices. Starting January 2022 I will start my new pricing and policies.

I will be working on all of this during my time away from the salon and will soon have everything set up after Christmas.
.
Every year I say I will start taking Saturdays off and I never do. This year will change and I will start doing it. I will be off every other Saturday starting January 2022 and I will finally have some weekends with my family.
.
Please book in advance if you do want a Saturday appointment. At least 2 months in advance for a weekend appointment. Remember it’s every other Saturday.
